BOOKING

Q: The address says Parados Sorvolou — how do I find it?

Parados Sorvolou is a narrow alley off Sorvolou Street, and it is easy to miss if you do not know what you are looking for. Here is how to find it.

From Splantzia Square, walk toward the corner where Authentico Gelato and Maridaki’s Taverna face each other — one on each side. Take the street between them heading away from the square. This will lead you to a small square with the Byzantine church of Saint Irini and the restaurant The Well of the Turk. At the end of that square, to the right, you will see Ionas Boutique Hotel on the corner. Parados Sorvolou is the alley that runs alongside the back of it.

The street/lane directedly in front is Sorbolou. Turn right and in 10 yards you will see Parados Sorbolou (parados = side street / alley)

The building is number 14. Look for the potted plants and the green door.

If you get turned around, search Chania Cozy Studios on Google Maps or WhatsApp us directly — we will talk you in.

Q: How do I book?

Select your dates on the search bar, choose your studio, and complete the booking directly on this site. No third-party platform, no extra fees. If you prefer to confirm by message first, WhatsApp us and we will hold dates for you while we sort the details.

Q: How is my payment processed? Is it secure?

Your payment is processed securely through Stripe, one of the world's leading payment platforms. We do not see or store your card details at any point — all financial information is handled directly by Stripe's encrypted payment system. Chania Cozy Studios retains no card data unless you choose to provide a credit authorisation form separately, for example for a security deposit. You can book with confidence.

Q: Is it cheaper to book direct?

Yes. Booking through Airbnb or Booking.com adds platform fees that are passed on to you. Booking here removes that cost entirely. The rate on this site is always the lowest available.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

[Insert your Lodgify cancellation policy here — moderate, strict, or flexible.]

Q: Is there a minimum stay?

High Season April - November 4 nights. Off-Season December - March 7 nights.

GETTING THERE AND PARKING

Q: The address says Parados Sorvolou — how do I find it?

[Full directions as written above.]

Q: Is there parking nearby?

Parados Sorvolou is a pedestrian lane — it is physically too narrow for cars to enter. Do not attempt to drive in.

Parking in the surrounding Old Town area is strictly regulated. Most street spaces are reserved for residents with permits. Vehicles parked without a valid permit are fined and licence plates are removed by the municipality. Retrieving your plates requires a trip to the traffic authority and a fine payment — it is not a quick process.

The safest option is the municipal car park on Apokoronou Street, approximately five minutes on foot from the studios. Paid parking is available there without restriction.

We will send you a parking map with your check-in instructions showing the permitted areas closest to the studios.

Q: How do I get from the airport?

Chania Airport (CHQ) is approximately 20 minutes by taxi. The taxi rank is outside the arrivals hall. Agree the fare before you get in or confirm the meter is running. Ask to be driven to Maridakis' Taverna on Daskalogianni Street. Public transport is also a good and economical solution. The KTEL bus also runs from the airport to the city centre — get off at the central bus station and it is a 15-minute walk or a short taxi ride to Splantzia.

Q: How do I get from the port?

Ferries arrive at Souda Port, approximately 20 minutes by taxi from the studios. There is no also public bus connection from Souda to the center of town. Get off at the Agora (central market) and you are at the top of Splantzia.

THE STUDIOS

Q: What is the difference between Studio Petra and Studio Lithos?

Studio Lithos is on the second floor — timber floors, salmon pink wall, a staircase full of objects that tell a story, and a stone alcove that that connects with the old world. Both sleep two. Both have private bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens with Airfryer and Espresso Machine, air conditioning, and free WiFi.

Q: How many guests can each studio accommodate?

Each studio accommodates two guests. We do not offer additional beds or sofa beds.

Q: Is there air conditioning?

Yes. Both studios have air conditioning.

Q: Is there WiFi?

Yes. Free WiFi is available in both studios.

Q: Is the washing machine in the studio?

The washing machine, iron, and ironing board are in the shared hallway between the two studios, available to guests of both.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

Yes. Splantzia is the vibe of Old Town. A combination of a residential neighourbood in the little laneways and full of restaurants, bistros, cafes and bars on the main walkways. It is quiet yet alive, well-lit, and populated by people who live there year-round. We have never had a guest raise a safety concern.

Q: How far is the Venetian harbour?

Less than 5 minutes away on foot. The walk takes you through some of the most characterful streets in the Old Town.

Seven to eight minutes on foot. The walk takes you through some of the most characterful streets in the Old Town.

Several of the best restaurants in Chania are within a two-minute walk. Kouzina EPE and Maridaki's Taverna are both on the square. The Well of the Turk is at the end of our lane. For a fuller guide to where we eat, see the Splantzia & Chania page. Everything is right outside your door.
